UNIFIED TRACK · SIS PAYBACK

What If Attendance Recovery Could Help Pay for Your SIS?

Your SIS records the absence. Unified Track helps you identify the students, recovery opportunities, interventions, and potential ADA value hidden inside that data.

Built for California school districts. Uses current California LCFF funding rates for illustrative calculations.

Attendance Recovery does not require one massive change. Financial impact is created one student, one intervention, and one recovered instructional day at a time.

TIME-BOUND ADA LEAKAGE

Attendance Recovery opportunities are not unlimited. Student participation, program requirements, annual limits, reporting timelines, and fiscal-year boundaries all matter. Unified Track helps districts identify actionable opportunities while there is still time to act.

Find the opportunity before the window closes.

Attendance Recovery, Simplified

Up to 10 Days

California Attendance Recovery generally limits a student to the lesser of 10 recovered attendance days or the student's actual number of absences during the fiscal year.

Outside the Regular Day

Attendance Recovery can be offered before or after school, on weekends, and during qualifying intersession periods.

Documentation Matters

Participation and instructional time must meet California requirements and be documented appropriately.

The Original Absence Remains

Attendance Recovery can generate ADA but does not simply erase the original absence from the student's attendance history.

California Has Created the Mechanism. Now Comes Execution.

~2,200 ADA

Preliminary 2025–26 state data showed California school districts reporting only about 2,200 ADA from the new Attendance Recovery program — less than 0.1% of statewide ADA.

Attendance Recovery is new. District operational models are still being built.
